Conferences - Terms & Conditions

1. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

If the client cancels a reservation(s) less than 6 months in advance, the hotel has the right to claim the following sums, unless a booking is obtained for the same dates from a third party on no less favourable terms.

  1. Cancellations between 3 and under 6 months in advance – 30% of the anticipated charges
  2. Cancellations between 1 and under 3 months in advance – 50% of the anticipated charges
  3. Cancellations between 15 and under 30 days in advance – 70% of the anticipated charges
  4. Cancellations between 7 and under 14 days in advance – 85% of the anticipated charges
  5. Cancellations between 3 and under 7 days in advance – 90% of the anticipated charges
  6. Cancellations less than 3 days in advance – 100% of the anticipated charges

Please note that all deposits, once paid, are non refundable

Private Functions

For private functions, a deposit of 50% of the expected total is required no later than 30 days before the function and the remaining balance will be due 7 days before the function.

 

2. CANCELLATION BY THE HOTEL

The hotel may cancel a booking/s under following circumstances:

  1. If the hotel or any part of it is closed due to circumstances outside its control.
  2. If the client becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership
  3. If the client is more than 14 days in arrears with any payments to the hotel.
